Moody Blue Cottage in the picturesque village of Fouriesburg in the Eastern Freestate, is located a mere 8km from the Caledon Bordepost entering Lesotho, 25 min from Clarens, 30 min from Ficksburg and 35 min from Golden Gate National Park, making it the perfect base from which to explore the Eastern Freestate and all it’s majestic beauty. The cottage offers comfortable accommodation for 4 adults while a Snooza fold out bed is available for a 5th guest, if needed.  The main bedroom boasts a queen size bed with electric blankets for those unexpected chilly evenings whilst the second bedroom has two single beds, also fitted with electric blankets. The bathroom offers an old fashioned deep soak bath, shower, loo and basin. Towels are provided.
The open plan dining room and lounge can accommodate all guests in comfort and has a smart TV and a dining table with 4 chairs.  The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, washing machine, airfryer, fridge/freezer and all the normal necessities one requires to prepare a delicious meal.  Safe parking is available for one vehicle in a motorised garage. Motorbikes are welcome! The cottage has a lovely verandah with chairs and a gas braai where guests can relax and soak up the views of the manicured garden that is home to an abundance of local bird species. After dark, turn off all the lights and enjoy a clear view of the magnificent stars in the sky. You will be amazed by what you see! Moody Blue Cottage is the perfect spot to come and rest and relax in comfort.
